Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) is a not-for-profit organisation training and educating surgeons and advocating for quality surgical standards in Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia. RACS is the unifying voice for surgeons across nine specialties, including Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Its qualification, FRACS, stands for excellence in surgical care. RACS' library, professional development and skills courses, scholarships and research funds are amongst the invaluable resources it provides for surgeons, surgical trainees and vocationally registered SIMGs. RACS' nine training programmes and its CPD programmes are accredited by the Medical Council of New Zealand and the Medical Board of Australia.
