Dr. S. Mark Taylor is Professor and Head of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Dr. Taylor completed his training in Oto-HNS at Western University followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery/ Advanced Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at Washington University. He is the Past President of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery where he also previously served as the President of the CSO Fund. Dr. Taylor was President of the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from 2013-2016 and was the first President of the Canadian Association of Head and Neck Surgical Oncologists. He represents Canada on the Board of the International Federation of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical Societies and in 2016 was elected to the Collegium Oto-Rhino-Laryngologicum Amicitiae Sacrum. (CORLAS) Dr. Taylor has published over 200 peer reviewed articles and his practice is focused on facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and minimally invasive head and neck surgical oncology.
