Dr Stephen BallFRCS ORL PhD
ORL Surgeon, Auckland DHB & The University of Auckland, NZ I’m an ORL surgeon trained in the UK, with fellowships in Auckland, Italy & the USA. I have a particular interest in disorders of the nose & paranasal sinuses along with ORL surgery in general. My PhD was investigating the role of epithelial and fibroblast cells in chronic rhinosinusitis. Alongside this I’ve enjoyed a range of research activities including laboratory, translational, national clinical trials and emergency guideline development. I’m a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Faculty of Surgical Trainers.
It has been fantastic to complete my fellowship training in New Zealand and I have learned lots from many excellent colleagues here. |
