Dr Lyndell KellyRadiation Oncologist, Southern DHB, Dunedin, NZ
Dr Kelly graduated 1981 from the University of Queensland with a MBBS and in 1988 with RANZCR after 4 years at the Qld Radium Institute. She continued for a total of 22 years at the Royal Brisbane Hospital Oncology Department before a major dispute over Intellectual Property sent her looking for a job elsewhere. She has a PhD in Pathology/Toxicology/Drug development 2003.
After 24 years in the ANZ Head and Neck Cancer Society, Dr Kelly received the Society medal in 2019 for being nice to everyone. She enjoyed teaching Head and Neck Radiation techniques in Islamabad in Nov 2019 for the IAEA/WHO. Great welcome and great food! Dr Kelly has been part of the NZ Stereotactic Radiotherapy team at Dunedin Hospital since 2005. |
