Dr Christina Baggott 

Dr Christina Baggott is a Respiratory Specialist practicing at Waikato Hospital. Her areas of expertise are Asthma and COPD. Her clinical research consists of co-authoring 12 peer reviewed articles in the past 15 years including the New Zealand COPD Guidelines 2021.

Dr Baggott has a PhD in asthma from the Medical Research Institute of New Zealand and Victoria University of Wellington. Her research focussed on understanding what matters most to people about their asthma treatments with the objective that future treatments can be designed with these findings in mind, and current treatments can be used more appropriately leading to improvements in how patients’ asthma is managed.
